Bio:
Limoges has been internationally renowned for its porcelain production since the 18th century, following the discovery of high-quality kaolin deposits in the region. During the first half of the 20th century, numerous Limoges factories produced finely hand-painted porcelain decorated with floral motifs, gilding, and delicate enamel colours. Small lidded boxes from Limoges remain highly collectible for their exceptional craftsmanship and timeless French elegance.
