L´art Copenhagen was established in 1999 in Copenhagen, Denmark and is dealing in vintage artist-made ceramics, art glass, metal ware, porcelain, oil paintings and lighting, specializing in Scandinavian design.

L´art Copenhagen offers both the experienced collector and the interested novice the opportunity to view one of the most extensive inventory in Denmark in our Copenhagen and London showrooms.

All items offered for sale are factory-first, vintage examples in excellent condition unless otherwise noted.

 

About our owner

Peter Lau Kristiansen, the proud owner of L´art Copenhagen, has been in Copenhagen for 23 years.

Peter has brought his lifelong passion for antiques and design objects to the business, enhancing L´art Copenhagen´s reputation for quality antiques and design objects by focusing on objects which are unique due to their design and exquisite quality.

True passion never dies.

Inside the showroom there are true design objects and antiques, like the iconic Poul Henningsen vintage artichoke lamp, exquisite flora danica porcelain, an unique Lucie Rie stoneware vase with flaring lip and the stylish Henning Koppel for Georg Jensen ”pregnant duck” sterling silver pitcher, just to mention a few of the 10.000 hand picked quality objects.

The business now occupies a 7500 square foot showroom in Copenhagen, meticulously appointed to showcase the fine antiques and design objects.
