SWEDISH CARPETS AND RUGS. Rölakan (or röllakan or flat weave) is a special weaving technique used for weaving carpets. These carpets are becoming increasingly in demand, with Märta Måås-Fjetterström's and Barbro Nilsson´s rugs being the most sought after and expensive.
