Bio:
Jacob E. Bang (1899–1965) was one of Denmark’s most important glass designers and a central figure in the development of Danish modern glass. He served as artistic director at Holmegaard Glassworks from 1928 to 1941 and later worked for Kastrup Glassworks. His production encompassed both functional tableware and art glass, often characterised by simple, harmonious forms and a profound understanding of the material and craftsmanship of glass.
