Elegant set consisting of ten hand-painted porcelain side plates decorated with the classic Saxon Flower pattern and gilt rim. The plates are marked with the Meissen crossed swords and are first quality pieces.

Bio:
Meissen was founded in 1710 and is regarded as the first porcelain manufactory in Europe. The company gained international recognition for its high-quality hard-paste porcelain and finely hand-painted decoration. The crossed swords mark, introduced in 1722, is one of the worlds oldest trademarks still in use today.
