Georg Jensen (1866–1935) was a Danish silversmith and designer, trained as a sculptor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. He founded the Georg Jensen silversmithy in 1904 and became internationally recognised for his organic forms and exceptional craftsmanship in silver and decorative arts. His early twentieth-century works are considered among the most important examples of Danish Art Nouveau and early Scandinavian modernism.
