Ove Alfred Märtens (1888–1936) was a Danish painter known for his evocative landscapes and figure scenes, often depicting rural Jutland. His work is characterised by a restrained palette and strong compositional structure, with clear influence from French Impressionism. Later in life he settled near Karup Heath, which became a recurring subject in his oeuvre. His works are represented in Danish collections and reflect a refined sense of atmosphere and form.
