Rare circular bronze dish with relief decoration of stylised fish, aquatic plants and organic forms, executed with a characteristic patinated surface in warm copper and green tones. With engraved initials from a previous owner.

Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) was a Swedish-Finnish ceramicist and designer, best known for his work at Rörstrand where he served as artistic director from 1931. He worked across ceramics and other materials, creating organic, nature-inspired forms with a strong sculptural quality. Nylund is regarded as a key figure in Scandinavian modernism, and his works are highly collectible today.
