Bio:
Sven Wejsfelt was an influential Swedish ceramicist associated with Gustavsberg for several decades. His work is frequently inspired by nature and characterised by a strong sculptural presence, combined with experimental glazes and tactile surfaces. Wejfelt’s figures from the 1970s and 1980s are today considered among the more sought-after examples of Swedish studio ceramics.
