Elegant and well-balanced stoneware vase with a soft, organic silhouette. Finished with a characteristic light, speckled glaze in cool green and cream tones, typical of Gunnar Nylund’s production at Rörstrand in the mid-20th century. Harmoniously proportioned with a gently flared rim.

Bio:
Gunnar Nylund was one of the most influential figures in Swedish ceramic modernism and served as artistic director at Rörstrand from the 1930s onwards. His work is characterised by organic forms, restrained glazes, and a refined balance between functionality and sculptural presence. Pieces from this period are today regarded as highly desirable examples of Nordic ceramic design.
