Bio:
Blue Fluted Plain was introduced in 1775 and is Royal Copenhagen’s oldest and most iconic pattern. Inspired by Chinese blue-and-white porcelain, the decoration is characterised by its disciplined composition, rhythmic brushwork and finely executed hand-painted details. Bowls of this size were used for serving both hot and cold dishes and reflect the factory’s high level of craftsmanship in the mid-20th century.
