       Leo Thellefsen (October 5, 1909 – August 20, 1997) was a Danish painter born in Vedsted, Vendsyssel. He specialized in landscapes and nature scenes, drawing early inspiration from the Limfjord region. Over time, his work evolved from realistic representations to a more abstracted, synthesized style—blending multiple impressions into labyrinthine compositions.
         His work was exhibited locally, with documentation in Esbjerg-area archives from the 1950s to the 1980s. Thellefsen also took part in art society events, earning recognition among his peers.
