She trained as a potter from 1949 to 1952 and subsequently studied graphic arts at the Landeskunstschule in Hamburg. From 1955 to 1993 she was associated with Michael Andersen \u0026amp; Søn on the island of Bornholm, where she played a key role in introducing and developing stoneware production. Her work includes both functional wares and decorative reliefs, often characterised by strong graphic motifs and stylised figures.
