He studied under William Bromley in England and later with Léon Bonnat and Fernand Cormon in Paris, where he was influenced by the French plein-air technique and Impressionism. His works combine realistic detail with a soft, atmospheric style.\u003cbr\u003e   Yeend King was an active exhibitor and a member of several art institutions, including the Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours, where he later became vice president. He exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy and received recognition both in Britain and internationally.
